When in Hoi An, in addition to a walking tour in ancient town or relaxing moment at beaches, don't miss the trip to Water Coconut Forest and experience the unique boat trip. With 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals, and houses covered in water coconut leaf the forest played such an important place for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War as refugees. Coming to the forest, you will row a basket boat with the help of skillful locals, learning their traditional fishing techniques in the water coconut forest. The friendly locals will answer all of your questions so that you may learn of and share thelove for this marvelous country.

7:00 AM - 7:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Da Nang and depart for Hoi An.
8:00 AM: Arrive in Hoi An and join a group for a cycling tour to the Coconut Forest.
9:00 AM: Along the way, make stops at the Ba Le local market, rice fields, cemetery, and school.
10:00 AM: Upon reaching the village, you will be warmly welcomed by a local family on the riverbank. Experienced anglers will then guide you in basket boats to learn traditional fishing techniques within the water coconut forest.
11:00 AM: Continue cycling through peaceful paths, away from the tourist trails, and reach the vegetable village.
11:30 AM: You will be warmly greeted by Mr. Minh's family, where you can enjoy a welcome drink "basil juice," stroll through the village, and meet local people working in the garden.
12:30 PM: Local farmers will teach you cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetables from insects. You can also join the farmers in gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting, and tending greens.
1:30 PM: You will have the opportunity to cook and learn how to make “Tam Huu” spring rolls and “Banh Xeo” pancakes. Lunch will feature many local delicacies, including “Tam Huu” spring rolls and the traditional pancake of the central region of Vietnam.
2:30 PM: After lunch, enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, a traditional therapeutic practice, and prepare lunch with a local family.
3:30 PM: Take a rest before returning to your hotel. End of the tour.
